RENTPRO TEAM how did it all start?

That is, a brief history of who we are and how it all started. A few words from the founder.

Whenever I read the ‘About us’ tab on a company’s website, I am never surprised. It’s the same thing over and over again, lofty texts, sometimes pictures.

That’s why I decided to dissect the story of our founding very briefly in this blog post.

The idea for the RentPro team came about relatively recently. In 2021, to be precise.

Why do I say not long ago?

Because we have already been operating as a functioning organisation since 2012. That’s a huge difference. Why is that?

For the years 2012-2019

For the years 2012 to 2019 we were a subcontractor to one very large company from the UK. To this day we are still in a relationship. We do e-commerce sales of office supplies products for them. We do over 20 million gbp year-on-year.

Over the years mentioned above, we have learnt how to build an organisation, how to hire people, incentive systems, process building or project management.

 In 2019

 In 2019 we are first talking about the fact that we could provide our services to another entity and that we should set up a company to do this.

In 2020 and 2021

In 2020 and 2021 we have verbally several clients from the UK to work with on an ongoing basis, to whom we supply industry specialists and deliver the service. This is also the point at which we have had a ton of tax and legal consultations to establish exactly what kind of creature we are. And it was not an easy task.

For this particular moment we are delivering :

  •  a 365/24/7 customer service and compliance team for an operator in the gambling industry
  •  an e-commerce team of 37 people selling for 25m gbp per year
  •  we almost became an employment agency to supply workers to the warehouses of one of our logistics partners in Poznan, the Netherlands and possibly the UK.

There was really a lot going on.

2021

2021 is a watershed moment with the formation of the company and we realized that we are best defined by outsourcing.  From the beginning, the idea was that in our service we would meet the needs of our clients by hiring the right people and training them to do the job.

Our service is best defined by the fact that we provide resources (mainly human) to companies that just happen to have a gap or are not able to cope.

It is true that over the years we have specialized mainly in two industries, e-commerce and iGaming. On the other hand, I am convinced that we could cater to any non-IT industry by providing the right people who are high performers and bring value to the client’s business.

LetsPRO and RentPRO

LetsPRO is the name of our company and the brand for our home market, Poland.

RentPRO is the brand for foreign markets.

Which way will it develop in the future?

It’s hard to say, we have loads of ideas like outsourcing accounting.

But we also want to further develop the areas in which we feel really strong.

And these are primarily :

  •  Top standards of customer service, also available 365/24/7
  • And ecommerce marketplace sales on Amazon, eBay and others.

We are and always have been a team of young talented people, full of desire to work and committed.

Nowadays, delegating tasks to an external company can be more valuable than ever.

Outsourcing is, after all:

  • Immediate access to specialists
  • Entrusting project activities to specialists
  • Saving money
  • Saving time, for example spent on recruitment or management
  • And much more …
